When to Consider Teeth Bonding

When to Consider Teeth Bonding

Teeth bonding, sometimes called dental bonding, is a safe and very effective way to address many cosmetic and general dental problems. Fairfax Station dentist Dr. Pamela Marzban may suggest [link id=’112′ text=’teeth bonding’] to address issues such as:

  • Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
  • Gaps and spaces in between teeth
  • Crooked or misshapen teeth
  • Exposed tooth roots
  • Severe decay

If you are interested in learning more about teeth bonding or any of our other services, please call Dr. Marzban at 703-323-8200 to schedule a consultation today.

The Bonding Process

Dental bonding is made of a composite resin that can be colored to exactly match adjacent teeth. This resin is applied in layers, each being cured with a special light after application until the appropriate thickness is met. Once the final layer of bonding has been applied and cured, Dr. Marzban shapes and polishes it to ensure a seamless fit into your smile. Very little tooth preparation is necessary prior to teeth bonding and the procedure can be completed in a single office visit.

There are a number of reasons you may wish to consider teeth bonding. We would be happy to discuss them with you in greater detail during your next visit to our office.
