What If Opalescence Doesn’t Work for Me?

Most patients with stains from food, beverages, or age see noticeable improvement with Opalescence. It can even reduce the appearance of certain tetracycline stains and fluorosis white spots.

If your discoloration doesn’t respond, Dr. Pamela Marzban will determine whether enamel defects, internal tooth injury, or decay are the cause. In those cases, other cosmetic dentistry treatments—such as porcelain veneers, crowns, or bonding—may provide more predictable whitening and long-term enhancement.
